Why pay when Find a Tender is free?
You can search the official sites yourself, and we link to them on every notice. What you pay for is time: one search across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, tenders matched to your business with the reasons shown, warnings about requirements you may not meet, alerts, contracts coming up for renewal, buyer and competitor profiles, a pipeline with reminders, subcontracting leads and help preparing the bid.
Do you list business grants too?
Yes. Every grant on GOV.UK Find a Grant, plus local grants from councils and growth hubs, which we check for every night. Anyone can search them for free. Paid plans add grants matched to your business with email alerts, an AI check of whether you're eligible, and on Professional, Business and Enterprise, help writing the application. We can't promise you'll get a grant — the funder decides.
Can you help with small jobs under £30k that aren't advertised?
Yes. Councils usually ask a few firms they already know to quote for jobs under about £30,000, so the trick is getting onto their lists. On any paid plan, Small council jobs shows your local councils and the portals they use, tracks where you've registered, keeps the documents councils ask for in one place with expiry reminders, and writes an introduction to their procurement team. Will you find every contract?
No service can honestly promise that. We cover the official UK notice services listed above. Private-sector tenders and some buyers' own portals aren't included yet.
Can you guarantee I'll qualify or win?
No. Fit scores and bid packs are there to help you decide and prepare. The buyer's notice and documents are the final word on requirements and deadlines, and you're responsible for what you submit.
What happens to the documents I upload?
The text is read in your browser and sent securely to our AI provider to create your bid pack. We keep the pack it produces, not the original files.
Can my team use one account?
The Business plan includes up to 10 people sharing one pipeline, library and set of bid packs. Enterprise has no limit on people, for larger organisations and bid teams.
How do I pay, and how do I cancel?
Pay monthly or yearly by card through Stripe (yearly gets two months free) — choosing a plan during your free trial doesn't charge you until the trial ends. Change or cancel any time from Settings, Plan. When you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. Enterprise is invoiced.
Do you show how quickly councils pay?
Yes, where the buyer has published one. Under the Procurement Act, public bodies publish twice-yearly payment reports, and we show the figures on each buyer's profile so you know what to expect before you bid.
Is there a phone app?
Yes. TendersNearMe installs straight from your browser, with no app store needed. On Android, open the site in Chrome and tap Install when asked (or Install app in the ⋮ menu). On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens full screen with your matches, pipeline and closing dates.
