The strategy will provide a shared long-term vision for culture and creativity in Leeds and position culture as a key contributor to the city's economic growth, health and wellbeing, place-making, social inclusion, community development and international profile. The commission seeks to: Co-produce an ambitious, evidence-based strategy for the next ten years. Place culture and creativity at the heart of Leeds's future development and align with the city's wider ambitions and priorities. Improve participation, representation and access to culture across all communities. Support inclusive growth and demonstrate how culture can help address inequalities. Strengthen cultural infrastructure, partnerships and networks across the city. Create a practical delivery framework, action plans, governance arrangements and monitoring framework to guide future investment and collective action. The successful consultant will undertake: Discovery and evidence review of existing strategies, research, cultural assets and data. Stakeholder engagement and co-production involving communities, cultural organisations, businesses, strategic partners and residents across Leeds. Strategy development and design, including a vision, priorities, outcomes framework and draft strategy. Consultation and refinement of the draft strategy. Production of the final Culture Strategy, delivery plan, monitoring and evaluation framework, and governance recommendations. The procurement amount is up to £50,000.
